Our stories matter.

Let our stories of challenges and triumphs on mental illness become instruments to raise mental health awareness and provide hope and encouragement to others who are struggling with their mental health. Sharing our stories could also help break down the stigma around mental health problems and educate people about mental health. Truthfully, there should be no shame in talking about mental health and our struggles. IT IS important to talk about it and let people know that no matter how young or old, how rich or poor, or WHEREver they are, they are not alone in their battles.

We also encourage those who have loved ones who have struggled/still struggling with depression, anxiety, or other mental health problems to share how they have supported these people that they care about during these times.

1. Click the button that says ‘click to add your story’.

2. After clicking on this button, this pointer will appear on this side toolbar. Click on it and then zoom in on the map where you want to add a pin to. You may also use the search tool (magnifying glass button on top of the pin) to search for a location.

(Note: Your story’s place (setting) doesn’t need to be pinned on its exact location on the map.)

3. Add your story on the window that will appear once you place your pin on the location.

4. Click the button to stop your editing session.
